Owner Burnette McNamee has been riding since her childhood. A saddleseat rider under her father’s tutelage, and has since ridden and shown hunters and jumpers for over 25 years. As a teacher in the St. Louis School system with both Parkway and now as a professor at Wildwood she continues to be the master teacher’s voice for all Dublin projects and programs.
Boo Gonzalez has been riding since she was five, showing from the age of nine, and holds Bachelors degrees in both Animal Science and Equestrian Science. As an instructor under the late Gordon Wright she has honed her skills as both instructor and rider, it is his renowned and ageless system that we continue to use today in our program.
Boo has been a board member for MHSA for over twelve years, and Founded MOHJO, Missouri Hunter Jumper Organization, here in St. Louis making sure to establish rules and guidelines to guide new equestrians through the ranks to their affiliates, USHJA and USEF.
She has been trainer of the year in multiple disciplines, both Hunters and Combined Training via a membership vote of her peers for MHSA for a number of years. Her forte is training young horses for the show ring, and she loves the challenge of teaching riders from beginner to professional. Her students have gone on to become professionals and avid amateurs on the A circuit, as have the horses she has started.
